Reloader Definition & Meaning

Reloaders firearms, shooting sports, reloading, shotgunning, and related equipment and accessories. It is a place to teach, learn, collaborate and communicate.

Reloading refers more specifically to manual loading using previously fired shells and shells. Whether the hand loader uses new or reused material, the words are often used interchangeably as the techniques are essentially the same.

Is the recharge dead?

Reloading dies are used to dip the brass, resize the brass to specification, and crimp the seat and bullet. The reloader can buy dice individually or save money by purchasing a set. Kits are typically packaged as 2-die sets for bottleneck cartridges and 3-die sets for straight-wall cartridges.
