Description

Winchester 270 (Ballistic Silvertip ammo) has been demonstrated to deliver immediate knock-down for hunters. Ballistic Silvertip is the choice for individuals who respect Winchester’s legendary excellence. It combines innovation with engineering expertise.

The best 270 WSM rifle is an excellent choice for practically all deer hunting and is also quite useful in other situations. No, we don’t shoot big bears or buffaloes with the .270, but for wildlife up to elk, bullet performance is excellent, recoil is mild, and the .270 fires flat enough to simplify most shots. 270 Winchester is used almost exclusively as a hunting cartridge while match shooters, military and police snipers, and hunters have all used the . 30-06 Springfield extensively over the years.
Typically, the heaviest 270 bullets are around 150 grains because that is all that can be stabilized in a 1:10” twist. However, if a faster twist barrel is used for a 270 rifle, it can stabilize a much longer, heavier and higher BC bullet.

I was very concerned after ordering especially after seeing some of these reviews. My card was charged right away but I NEVER received an email from them regarding acknowledgment of my order, receipt, or any kind of information regarding shipment. Despite this I did receive exactly what I ordered within 10 days and that was during the time we(I\’m in Dallas, TX) were in extreme weather freeze conditions. I am not sure if I would order again simply due to the absolute lack of communication.

Here\’s the story: Tracking said my package was delivered, but I had no package. I contacted both the seller, and the delivery company, both gave me the run around. The shipper told me that the sender needed to file a claim, and closed my claim, the seller said that they can\’t file a claim with the shipper. The conclusion: package wasn\’t stolen, USPS took FedEx package, since it was in mailbox. They took a week from when it was originally delivered to give me a notice. I paid that fee too, and now I have my ammo. Huzzah!

I ordered 4 boxes of specialty .22 LR,I waited a little longer than normal, then finally received the WRONG AMMO. I called and emailed with no response,so I finally just kept calling over and over and received a call back from the company. They explained that 2 orders had gotten mixed up..blah blah, and wanted me to send this ammo back to them.. When I opened my actual ammo that I had ordered,it was all taped together with packing tape, which ripped the label off of one and made the others sticky. I returned the wrong ammo to them in the same fashion, all taped up together.
